Erin has a 4th grader at TC, a 6th grader at Hazel Wolf K-8, and a 4-year-old. She has served as Chair of TCPG since Fall of 2022. She hugely values serving the TC community and sees our school as a place where all children can thrive. She loves to garden, read, spend time in nature, poetry, and find joyful moments.

Treasurer (Officer) – Ann Hove Paisner

Ann is the parent of a 2nd grader at Thornton Creek and a 3 year old future Thornton Creek student. She served on the finance committee in the spring of 2024, and has assisted with various volunteer tasks at TC. She has a background working for federal, state, and local government regulators and enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, reading, running, and biking.

Secretary (Officer) – Jessica Knaster Wasse

Jessica is a parent of a 3rd grader and a 7th grader who is a TC graduate. This year she is stepping into the role of Secretary for TCPG. She served previously as TCPG Vice Chair since 2022. In addition to that she has also been both a room parent and the lead room parent and on the Health and Safety committee. Jessica has honed her community leadership skills during her career in homeless health care at Public Health. – Seattle & King County. Weekends you will find her baking, attempting to stand up paddle board, taking long walks on the Burke with her adorable dog, or bribing her children to hike.

Fundraising Chair (Board Member) – Robyn Hodges

Robyn has a 4th grader at Thornton Creek, as well as a TC graduate. She has been a public school music teacher for the past 18 years. She is excited to work in the coming year on fundraising. She believes in the good faith effort which TC strives for and wants to help make it the best place for kids.

Volunteer Chair (Board Member) – Kelsey Johnson

Kelsey is the parent of three Thornton Creek students, one daughter in 5th grade and twin boys in 3rd grade. Kelsey has enjoyed working with parents/caregivers from the TC community to help organize, plan and support school events. She has served as the Volunteer Chair since fall of 2022 and is looking forward to continuing her role for the upcoming year.

Professionally, Kelsey co-owns Fairhaven Project Services which specializes in permit coordination and project management. In addition, she is a wedding coordinator, so event planning is one of her passions. You will also find her being a personal chauffeur to her three kids taking them to soccer, basketball, baseball, and a variety of playdates. On weekends, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and playing golf.

Communications Chair (Board Member) – Gavin Murphy

Gavin is the parent of a 2nd grader and a preschooler at TC. This is his second year as the Communications Chair. Being involved with the parent group has been a rewarding experience, and he's looking forward to another great year. If he’s not working or spending time with his family, he’s probably in search of his next favorite cheese (currently a Smoked Gruyere from Red Apple Cheese).

Hospitality Chair (Board Member) – Chelsea Lin

Chelsea Lin is on her ninth year as a Thornton Creek parent, with a fourth grader here and eighth grader at JAMS. After holding many volunteer roles over the years—from room parent to TCPG chair to field day DJ—she’s excited to return to her first TCPG position: hospitality chair. A writer and editor by day, Chelsea is a passionate storyteller and engaged listener. She’s excited to focus her volunteer efforts this year on furthering our mission of creating a warm and welcoming environment for students and families alike. And she always shows up with baked goods!
